A circle has no beginning and no end. The Celts built that idea into their knotwork — single unbroken lines, looping back on themselves, with no way to tell where the thread started. It's one of the oldest ways people have had of saying that a bond doesn't stop.
This pendant is a sterling silver ring with that knotwork worked along the lower arc, finished in blackened silver so the pattern reads deep rather than flat. Inside is a sealed chamber holding a small portion of ashes, a lock of hair, or a pinch of soil from somewhere that mattered. From the outside it's simply a circle.
Small enough to live under a shirt collar, plain enough to wear every day, and heavy enough in the hand to feel like it was made to last.
